Krishna has been teaching for the past 12 years both privately and at music schools. She teaches students from beginner to diploma level, and especially loves teaching young children. She strives to connect with each student to understand their individual needs and musical aspirations.

Being classically trained from a young age as well as being a highly skilled exponent of the legendary Taubman approach, she is very experienced in helping students develop a strong technical and artistic foundation.  Through this approach, students can learn to play in the most natural and efficient manner without the risk of pianistic injury. Moreover they will also learn to perform with greater technical security, variety of sound and expressivity, allowing them to discover their own unique potential.

Young students will also enjoy learning Music theory and literacy through a series of Music Mind Games (created by Michiko Yurko) as part of their lessons, a unique approach that has been hugely popular amongst parents and teachers around the world.

Concerts are organised annually for students in a semi-formal and relaxed setting on a beautiful Ronisch Grand piano at her home. While some students may simply want to learn to play for leisure, Krishna also helps prepare students for AMEB and ABRSM examinations in both theory and practical.

Krishna also offers accompaniment for instrumentalists preparing for exams, auditions, concerts and competitions.

"We were looking for a piano accompanist our daughter for ABRSM Grade 8 Violin Exam. The exam co-ordinator recommended Krishna. Krishna is an extremely talented and professional pianist and teacher. We were so impressed with the way she guided and gave the feedback for our daughter Malavika. With Krishna's support she was able to pass the exam with high marks. No doubt, Krishna is one of the best piano teachers in Victoria."
